Our Reservation List

At Wolf River Bernedoodles, we maintain one Master Reservation List for families interested in bringing home one of our exceptional puppies. Your place on this list is secured when we receive your $500 non-refundable reservation deposit, and families are added strictly in the order deposits are received.

We strongly encourage families to join the Reservation List in advance of when they hope to bring home a puppy. Demand for our puppies has increased, and many families are now reserving their place several months ahead of time. Waiting until a litter is born can mean that the available puppies have already been reserved by families who joined the list months earlier.

Joining the Master Reservation List gives you the best opportunity to select from upcoming litters while preserving your place in line as new puppies become available.

As the breeder, we reserve the right to retain up to two puppies from each litter for our breeding program or to be trained as service dogs, although there are many litters where we choose not to keep any puppies.

Once puppies are born and we have had time to evaluate them and share photos and videos, we contact families on the Master Reservation List to determine who is interested in that litter. Based on those responses, we create a Puppy Picking schedule when the puppies are approximately six weeks old. Puppy selections may be made in person or remotely through FaceTime or other video calling options.

If you decide that a particular litter is not the right fit, you do not lose your place in line. Your position on the Master Reservation List remains active for up to one year, allowing you to wait for a future litter that better matches your family’s preferences for size, color, coat pattern, or temperament.

After one year of inactivity, your name is moved to our Backup Reservation List. Families on the Master Reservation List always receive priority puppy selection before those on the Backup Reservation List. We do not publish our Backup Reservation List.

Our puppies go home at approximately eight weeks of age, after receiving extensive early socialization, enrichment, and foundational experiences designed to give them the very best start in life.

If you are hoping to welcome a Wolf River Bernedoodles puppy into your family within the next year, we recommend joining our Reservation List as soon as possible. Reserving your place early gives you the greatest flexibility, the best selection opportunities, and peace of mind knowing your family is in line for one of our future litters.
