At Wolf River Bernedoodles, we maintain one Master Reservation List for families interested in bringing home one of our puppies. When we receive your $500 non-refundable deposit, your name is added to this list in the order the deposit is received.

Being on the Master Reservation List places you in line for a future puppy from our program. As the breeder, we reserve the right to retain up to two puppies from each litter for our breeding program, although there are many litters where we may choose not to keep any puppies.

Once puppies are born and we have had time to evaluate them and share photos and videos, we contact families on the Master Reservation List to determine who is interested in the current litter. After gathering responses, we create a Puppy Picking schedule for when the puppies are approximately six weeks old. Puppy selections may be made in person or remotely through FaceTime or other video calling options.

If you decide not to choose a puppy from a current litter, your position on the Master Reservation List remains active for up to one year, allowing you to wait for a future litter that may be a better fit for your family. After one year, your name is moved to the Backup Reservation List. Families on the Master Reservation List always receive priority puppy selection before those on the Backup Reservation List.

Our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes at approximately eight weeks of age, after receiving early socialization, care, and foundational experiences designed to give them the very best start in life.

Families on the Backup Reservation List either have been on the Master Reservation List for over one year, or do not plan to purchase a puppy for over a year. If a family on the Backup List decides that they want a puppy, the will be added to the end of the active Reservation List.
