We believe responsible breeding requires far more than producing puppies. It requires thoughtful breeding decisions, comprehensive health testing, careful selection of breeding dogs, exceptional care, accountability, and a long-term commitment to both our dogs and the families who welcome them home.

Health & Responsible Breeding

The long-term health and well-being of our dogs and puppies guide every breeding decision.

We use comprehensive health testing, genetic screening, pedigree analysis, and careful selection to reduce preventable health risks and strengthen future generations. Health, temperament, structure, genetic diversity, and long-term well-being always take priority over color, markings, trends, or financial considerations.

Dogs that do not meet our health or breeding standards are not included in our program.

Exceptional Temperament

Temperament is one of the most important qualities we seek to influence through thoughtful breeding.

Our breeding dogs are selected for stable, affectionate, confident, intelligent, and adaptable personalities. Our goal is to produce Bernedoodles that become exceptional family companions and, when appropriate, dogs capable of succeeding in emotional support, therapy, service, and other meaningful roles.

We take pride in producing Bernedoodles that are as beautiful as they are healthy and well-tempered.

Our breeding decisions consider structure, coat quality, expression, coloring, overall appearance, and the distinctive teddy-bear look families associate with Bernedoodles. Beauty, however, is never pursued at the expense of health, temperament, or sound breeding practices.

Our goal is to produce the complete dog—not simply an attractive puppy.

Every dog in our program deserves to be valued as an individual and provided with the companionship, veterinary care, enrichment, and quality of life it deserves.

Whenever possible, our breeding dogs live in family environments rather than spending their lives in traditional kennel settings.

Our puppies receive individualized attention, purposeful socialization, handling, enrichment, grooming exposure, and age-appropriate developmental experiences during their critical early weeks.

The welfare of our dogs and puppies remains at the center of every decision we make.

We communicate openly with families about our breeding practices, health testing, puppy development, contracts, pricing, expectations, and policies.

We also stand behind the puppies we produce and the commitments we make. Our two-year health guarantee represents a genuine promise. When a covered health issue occurs, we honor the guarantee in accordance with its terms and work with the family to fulfill our commitment.

We continually evaluate our breeding dogs, pedigrees, health results, puppy outcomes, family feedback, and breeding practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
